TEMPORARY ASSET VARIOGUARD® SYSTEM

M6 INTERCHANGE, J8 RAY HALL VIADUCT

Over 2,000m of ASSET VARIOGUARD® temporary steel barrier was installed during a Sunday night closure of the M6 at Junction 8, Ray Hall Viaduct.

The ASSET VARIOGUARD® was installed overnight by ASSET on the North and South bound carriageways in preparation for road works during the summer months of 2004.

Close liaison with Alfred McAlpine traffic management ensured that traffic switches during the night went according to plan. A full contraflow was operational from 0500 hours the following morning.
