ASSET SOLOGUARD® EMERGENCY ACCESS IN THE BUFFER ZONE

ASSET VARIOGUARD® is recognised as the safest solution for contraflow working. Used in the buffer zone between opposing lanes of traffic, ASSET VARIOGUARD® has prevented many cross-over accidents.

Where long lengths of ASSET VARIOGUARD® (often up to 5km) are used, there is a perceived problem with access for emergency vehicles, in the event of a serious accident.

ASSET has designed and tested ASSET SOLOGUARD® for this application. Two Box Beams can be removed by hand and integral wheels in the ASSET SOLOGUARD® units deployed so that the barrier becomes mobile. A gap in the barrier, allowing access for emergency vehicles, can be created in just a few minutes.
